Experience
Won the title of "Outstanding French Student" in high school. Received a 36 on the grammar sub-section of the ACT, with a 31 on the English section. Self-taught in French since college and self-taught in Spanish, Italian, German, and Russian as well. Received a score in the highest range on the French and German placement exams, and in the next to highest range on the Spanish placement exam after four months of home study. Just over 1,000 hours of tutoring experience for foreign languages since the beginning of my college career. With all of my previous experience, I am aware that I love to help students come closer to fluency in other languages and that I am now very quick at finding ways to personalize demonstrations, explanations, and applicable examples for any student to understand.

Hobbies
I love studying foreign languages and reading news articles from international newspapers online to learn about current events around the globe and to continually improve my language skills. I also really enjoy composing piano music, exercising with P90X, having a lot of fun with friends, dancing, humorous public speaking (which I learned through speech and debate in high school) and just being really funny in general and creating funny characters, and am a devout Christian, last but not least.
